Brief 3 - Advertising Ethics

Lets talk about The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (just a descriptor this post is by all means satirical) and what a terrible thing they are. They advocate that we not beat/eat/mistreat our animals/pets but hey i'm an animal lover and before i eat my beagle on a bagel i'd rather it be tenderized from a good beating. picture for reference
this is my dog Winston and as you can tell he is greatly mistreated.

I know some of you readers may be with me about how we should mistreat our dogs and cats but the ASPCA is trying to stop us. Since its inception in 1866 the ASPCA has been telling us how to treat our animals. From then on the ASPCA has gone on to do terrible things such as as In 1918, ASPCA veterinarians developed the use of anesthesia and as a result were able to work on a horse with a broken kneecap, or In 1954, ASPCA hospitals added pathology and radiography laboratories and programs, or even In 1961, ASPCA veterinarians performed their first open-heart surgery on a dog. This cruel non-profit organization has even created resources for people and their pets
*A 24-hour Animal Poison Control Line
*Free expert training and behavior advice
*A dedicated staff of veterinarians ready to provide high-quality medical care
*ASPCA mobile spay/neuter clinics that serve low-income communities throughout New York City
*Pet loss support services for those who are grieving
*The ASPCA Mission: Orange Initiative: An invitation of key cities across the United States to join ASPCA in ending the unnecessary euthanasia of adoptable pets.
*Creating plans for animals in times of emergency by ASPCA experts
*An 8,000-square-foot (740 m2) state-of-the-art adoption facility in New York City
*ASPCA Meet Your Match, a research-based matching system to match animals with the best homes.
*Helping at-risk horses with the ASPCA Equine Fund

With all that said the absolutely most egregious thing this organization has done is their advertising. These dirty rotten scoundrels have made the most devious of commercials to tell you about themselves. With the help of the ever hated Sarah McLachlan!
This absolutely disgusting video or this one and by god especially this video. Is this even ethical. How dare the ASPCA make such vile and revolting content. For those of us who enjoy mistreating our pets this is a slap in the face such as this photo right here of me being wildly hateful to my dog
Can we let this stand? The ASPCA should not be contributed to in anyway. There is one thing i know for sure and that is these videos will never be remembered and those who view it will definitely never want to start weeping and suddenly not want to spontaneously hug their pet and never let them go much to the annoyance of the pet. Now as someone who regularly mistreats his pet, as seen here in this photo of my son mistreating the dog
the one thing i love that the ASPCA does is their deception of those that view these commercials. When some bleeding heart calls the 800 number to donate what they don't know is that the ASPCA only serves the New York area and they are not in fact donating to local SPCAs or humane society shelters and so on and they in fact sending money to the New York. Is this deceptive? yes. As an animal mistreater I dislike it because id want to know that if i were to donate to an organization that is obviously the opposite of the ASPCA id want to know that its going to mistreat animals in my area and not a single place somewhere else.
